Pattaya beach, Thailand

Lovely beach, I must say! The sea was wonderfully large and the wind was blowing perfectly. Except… a sandstorm came when we were on the beach. Man, those sand corns really hurt my skin like hell when they flew all around places.

Taken in Thailand

I’ve never taken a photo of rain before.. And I was lucky it was rain season in Thailand, during my vacation. It rained EVERY afternoon. The rain only lasted for a few minutes though. It poured so much water down at such a little time, so even if I stood a few seconds under the rain I was so soaked it looked like I just got out of the shower. When the rain stopped I was chocked how fast the water dried, it took like 30 minutes.

This photo is taken on the schoolyard where my relatives go to school. It’s just a few steps away from my uncles home, so they’re lucky they are living so close to the school. My uncle had quite a cool house actually, it was really colorful, quite different from my other relative’s houses in Thailand. Sometimes though we found lizards and geckos inside the house crawling, that was creepy and cool. Though, the gecko-noises were horrible during nighttime, they just wouldn’t shut up!

Taken in Thailand.

This cat wasn’t a stray. But I’m not even sure if it was domesticated. All this cat was doing was walking after me begging for food and wanted me to pet it, it was meowing ALL THE TIME. But since food is really valuable in the indigent Thailand, giving food to the cat was considered quite disrespectful.

This cat belonged to my mothers family (my mom is Thai, our family lives in Finland, and we were visiting our relatives). They also had hens, a dog and another cat. The only food they got was the very little left overs from the humans.

It was a really great vacation to Thailand, though.  It was a completely different culture. They really slept in a “tree house”. The downstairs were basically outdoors, and upstairs was like a huge tree house, there were so many cracks on the floor that you could see down on the ground through them. The worst part was the toilet though, oh gawd, it was just a hole in the ground. Haha!

I learned a lot from this vacation and I got see so many incredible stuff, INCLUDING ELEPHANT SHIT!!!!. I wish to go there again!
